"I brought my VROD in for new tires and chrome fork lower sliders. I really liked the walk around and noting of any scratches or damage on the bike prior to being brought into the service department. The bike was finished a little earlier than expected and it came out looking excellent. There was no collateral"" damage, no scratches on the solid aluminum rims or anywhere else on the bike. When I got it home, I checked the torque on the axle and front fork triple clamps and they were spot on...as it should be but often is not with other dealerships. """

" From Howard Gould I recently brought my 04 Road King classic in to have a new rear tire installed on 1/7/05 The service department called me on 1/8/05 and reported that my exhaust manifold had a large crack in it, they told me to dont worry the bike is under the factory two year warranty and that they have ordered a new exhaust manifold already. On Sunday Morning @ 10:00 am I was riding through Morgan Hill past Dunne Ave. and had a BlowOut on my rear tire. I called Eric at House of Thunder and at 10:20 he sent the van and two service tech's to load my bike and take it to their shop and install a new tire. When they had the bike on the lift they noticed that a bolt was missing and replaced it and I was back on the road by noon. Thanks to all the guys at House Of Thunder Joe

"I have been a customer"" at over 30 dealerships in the course of ownership of several Harley-Davidson Motorcycles. I have never really been impressed with any, especially the service departments. I have been greatly and completely impressed with the staff at the House of Thunder. Several employees stand out, to name a few, Andy in Parts. Here's a man who goes out of his way to make sure that you are completely taken care of. He takes time to explain the answers to the many questions I have (and I have many), and he is quite patient in helping me decide my course of action when making a decision regarding a purchase. This is a valuable employee. Secondly, I'd like to thank Andrew Mikkelson in the Service Department. I recently needed a rear tire in a hurry, as I was leaving town. He got me on the road in a flash, and I am grateful for that. Secondly, I recently contracted to have my m/c's transmission up-graded to a six-speed, and he has paved the way to be able to do this, in a timely fashion (that suited my schedule) and in a very straight-foreward and professional manner. This is an expensive proposition, and Andrew helped me get the right items, at the right price. I am taking advantage of the Winters' slowness to get this done at a reduced price. I thank you again. "We are usually ones that are hesitant about putting words in writing unless we're passionately pleased with an experience. We can't describe enough of how well the experience was recently in contacting and doing business with the Service Department of the House of Thunder. We can certainly understand why they've received the 2006 Bronze Bar & Shield Award for two consecutive years. Prior to our contact with House of Thunder, our bike had been down for a total of 6 months. The Service Department had it up and running within three days. Though we did not buy our bike from House of Thunder we were treated as if we did. We believe we can say that we know exactly what we are talking about with regard to customer service satisfaction. The reason being we had gone through a bad experience in dealing with the dealership of whom we had previously purchased our bike from--the complete opposite of what we experienced with House of Thunder. Again, I can't describe enough about how well the grand customer service is at House of Thunder. It's worth the out of town travel to have the best customer service experience. "Dan and his employees offer outstanding service, in sales, parts and service. Dan will go out of his way for you even if you did not purchase your bike there. I recently bought a 2006 screaming eagle v-rod from Green Valley H.D. When I went there to get a problem taken care of with blemishes that started showing up on my seat, the service manager just gave me a laundry list of why I would be wasting my time and his in submitting a claim, although it was under the two year warrenty. He informed me that they would just pass it off as wear and tear or that I had not taken proper care of it. He told me that he had similar problems with his Corbin seat, & probably he should have bought a Harley seat. So after the run-a-round I went over the hill to House of Thunder. When I entered the shop Dan was at the service counter. I asked him what the warranty policy was on seats, I explained to him the problem, he said let's go look at it. He immediately said that's not right. He took my phone number and said he would call the Harley seat rep. This was on Sunday afternoon. Well on Tuesday he was shipping my seat to Harley and the following Tuesday House of Thunder called me to tell me that my NEW screaming eagle seat was there for me to pick up. This was a $300.00 seat - need I say any more? I always tell my friends about the outstanding service I receive at House of Thunder. A few years ago I retired from the grocery business and I always remember them preaching customer service, if you want the coustomer's return business. Well this has gotten a lot longer then I expected it to but it needed to be said and Dan needed to be thanked. Because these days, really good service seems to be rather non-existant. "During my recent trip to Hollister for the Bike Rally, I broke down in the middle of nowhere and had to be hauled to a shop near my destination for repairs. We called ahead and the Service Manager, Steve, reserved a lift for my arrival, and was very thorough in going over my bike and locating the electrical problem. None of the tests they ran could locate a problem, but they diligently tested alternate parts until the faulty voltage regulator finally proved to be the culprit. They worked on my bike and tested it until they were sure I was safe to leave the dealership and complete my weekend's activities. I really appreciated the priority they put on getting to the bottom of my problem and fixing it, so I could get back on the road, as I had already spent several hours in the hot sun stranded by the road. On 9/14/07 rode my 02' Road King in for 20k service and an intermitant problem of sputtering after a long day of riding. When I picked up my bike I was excited to get back in the wind. Needless to say, the sputtering started! I made a U-turn and went back to the service department. Andrew the service guy immediately took the bike for a 10 mile test ride. The problem was detected when the bike got very hot, a bad in-take seal. Since my ride there had gone and it was closing time, Andrew offered to take me home to San Jose because he felt responsible for not detecting the problem earlier. The bike was repaired the next morning and I was only charged for parts and not labor. Now that is True Customer Service that is hard to get from any dealership! I am so pleased with the way they handled an intermitant problem (never gave up) that I have told all my biker buddies of the best customer service in the bay area and will continue to share my positive experience with House of Thunder. From the first time I walked in and met Denise she made me feel at ease and at home without any pressure, showing me around the dealership as well as the shop (to show me a new model not yet on the floor), there, the manager Steve went out of his way to bring the bike out in the middle of the shop floor and answered all my questions about service and maintenance that they perform on all bikes. When I asked if a particular part was available for this model, I was introduced to Andrew in Parts, who quickly answered the question. I was so impressed with the personnel"" I told Denise ""I'll take one!"" My color choice and style was due to be shipped in 4 days and Denise told me that she would keep me up to date as to when it would arrive. A week later I called to add a option and found out Denise had fractured her arm and was stuck at home. Enter Raymond, He explained that he would help me with my request, and that required changing quotes (twice because I found more things for the bike!) I found him to be very professional and prompt. He let me know when the bike had arrived and when I could pick it up, although he may be out of town that day and apologized in advance. Enter Sean. The day I picked up my bike, Raymond was in L.A. so Sean did all the paper work, introducing me to my bike showing me programing, safety and operation in a very professional manner, while making me feel at home. And now time to test it. Enter the Apparel Department. I needed a helmet to test my new bike, and they were just as professional as everyone else. After test driving my new bike and saying my goodbyes, getting ready to leave, Raymond pulled into the parking lot from a cold 6 hour ride from L.A. pulled his gloves off, stuck out his hand and said ""Welcome to the family!"" Picked her up on Saturday and I have to say that the bike delivery presentation after service was perfect! All of this service far exceeded my expectations, the bike was super clean, and ran like new. Steve (service) and the parts team are super, they know what works and what doesn't when it comes to helping a customer to zero in on just the right part/solution. They are very upfront when something doesn't work or a particular solution has a history of failure. The service group is also very thorough when performing service, they detected an oily rocker cover gasket and replaced immediately (this was covered under extended warranty). "Last May 07 I finally got to ride my 98 Fatboy again after being laid up with a bone infection. The first ride was the Santa Clara Valley Peace Officers ride from SJ to Hollister where I live. I had done the ride every year until I was down for the count for a year or so. Anyway, my wife and I are enjoying our ride back on 101 to Hollister with the other umpteen hundred bikes and right around San Martin Ave...my throttle cable busted and I was on the side of the road watching everybody ride by to the BBQ and beer! Well I was able to reach under my tank and finger"" the throttle with one hand and shift with the other. I was able to tickle her (my bike) to the back roads and then to House of Thunder. I told Steve in service about the problem and he went to work. The part was in stock...he took the bike right in, and buya! an hour and 15 minutes later the wife and I were back on 101 headed for Balado Park...I was determined to finish this 1st real ride in a couple years to the end. Well we made it just in time to miss the BBQ, most folks had taken off, but the beer was 2 for 1 so they could get rid of it!! What a deal! Break down, stop at House of Thunder for a pit stop to fix a throttle cable and then 2 for 1 beer! Props to Dan and Steve for the GREAT service along with all the other staff from Albert and the clothes gang on through the sales staff..we felt at home while hangin around waiting for the fix. This is a great shop that has never skipped a beat since the days they were here in Hollister. "In the summer of 2005, I haunted your showroom and drooled over your 2005 Springer Classic. Unfortunately, by the time I had acquired enough money to purchase the bike, I saw some lucky customer sitting on my bike on your website. Heartbroken, I searched all of the dealerships until I found my Springer Classic in Black Cherry Pearl. I purchased the bike at another south bay dealership because it was coming in that week. Mistake number one. Mistake number two was having the bike serviced there. The term customer service should be self-explanatory. However this particular dealership was less than satisfactory to say the least and the staff was not very knowledgeable or helpful. I decided that if I was going to have my baby serviced again it would be at the House of Thunder where your knowledgeable and courteous staff that I had encountered on previous visits was worth the drive. A year after purchasing the bike, I was hit on my bike by a vehicle cutting across the lanes so as not to miss their exit; unfortunately, I was in the way. I went to emergency and I told my insurance agent tow my bike to House of Thunder. Steve Millar worked together with my insurance adjuster to get my bike back into running condition while my broken leg mended. I never had a worry because Steve was in touch and updating me on the status of the bike. I have since been back to House of Thunder many times, the last time was to have a bolt removed that was a little too snug for me and that I eventually snapped off, Steve and staff removed the bolt and got my bike (with oil change) running in record time without an appointment. "When I was finally in a position to be able to buy a HD motorcycle, a friend of mine suggested I go down to HOT in Morgan Hill. On his advice, I drove the 25+ miles down there even though I live 3 miles from another dealership. I went in with the thought of buying either a Street Glide or Road King. My first contact was Sean Manley. This guy from the get go was more interested in getting to know who I was as a person vs. what kind of motorcycle he could sell me. Based on that knowledge, the kind of riding I would be doing, he talked me out of both of the above bikes and really convinced me to go with the Heritage Softail Classic, 2009 model. From their it's been history. I've owned my Heritage since August of 2008 and haven't regretted the insight, knowledge and experience that Sean had with what bike would work best for me....this guy is spot on and knows HD. Since then, I've done pretty much everything I've wanted to do on the rig (against Sean's warning of not over 'accessorizing' the bike and even gave me a formula to understand the return on such 'investment' - or lack thereof....thanks Sean, but upgrades are ADDICTIVE!) That leads me to the guys at the back of the shop, Steve & Andy in parts who have 'spent' my money wisely as I would have otherwise thrown money away and being a first time HD owner could have easily taken advantage of me. These guys look out for their customers and do a good job recommending alternatives to what I originally thought I wanted to do. They do the upfront planning, but it's the service guys who implement what the 'Chrome Guru - Steve' recommends. Andrew, Mike, Ralph and et. all in service have done such an outstanding job on my rig! Since I've done many of the upgrades on my 09 Heritage that hasn't been done before, issues are inevitable. These guys have gone out of their way to either meet deadlines that they commit to, or minimize the delay when any issues are encountered. Andrew has commented that there's a 'black cloud' over my bike when it's in for the various upgrades I request. However, the way it rides and the personal touch they've given goes above and beyond what I could expect! HOT is a dealership about riders and riders love HOT! "When I was 14 years old I stole my first motorcycle. Three weeks and three states later, the authorities sent me home. As punishment, I was made to buy the very bike I stole and have owned one ever since. After owning seven other bikes, and at the ripe old age of 50, I am the proud owner of a 2008 Road King Classic, which already has 20,000 miles on the odometer. I figure I have at least 500,000 miles under my belt so far and look forward to many more in the years to come. As you can see, I am a biker! I ride to ride! Shortly after purchasing my new hog, the local dealer abruptly shut their doors. It was at this time that I became acquainted with House of Thunder. My original purchase had included a service contract, which I later discovered was actually with the dealer itself and not with Harley-Davidson. However, H.O.T. took on the existing contract and performed the final service at no charge. After this experience, H.O.T. became my go-to dealership. I gladly travel the hour from Santa Cruz to get the treatment I feel I deserve, and that H.O.T. delivers, so much so that I've been known to rent a trailer and tow the bike just to have them change a flat tire. But it gets better. Recently I had the honor and privilege of converting my bike to a 113 Screaming Eagle. After lots of scrutiny, the project was turned over to H.O.T. and to say the end result was astronomical would be an understatement. The performance of my bike is everything I hoped for. While all the staff at H.O.T. are great, I want to give a special shout out to Andrew (Shop Manager) and Peanut for their personal efforts with regard to the conversion of my bike. While there were significant delays, beyond their control, in completing the overhaul, H.O.T. more than made it right in the end. I highly recommend House of Thunder whenever I get the chance! "

"The other day I was beside the road with a flat rear tire. Ralph was driving by and saw me. He stopped and asked me if I needed help. He called the shop and Steve promptly came out with a truck and picked me up. Peanut got my bike on the lift very quickly and replaced both my front and rear tire. I told him I was going to replace my rear brake pads soon and on hearing this, because my rear tire was off anyway, he offered to do it for just the cost of parts. "I needed a 10K service on my Ultra Classic and decided to try House of Thunder (HOT) as they were offering this at a very competitive price and my regular dealer was pretty backed up. I have had accessories installed before at HOT in the past, which I was very satisfied. I talked to Andrew and then to Philip DeLeon who provided the finest most professional customer service I had ever experienced at a dealership....and believe me...I have used many dealers as I have owned 3 bikes. Philip was polite, courteous and was genuinely interested in me and my service needs. The work was completed a day earlier than promised and Philip had previously called me updating me on the progress and even made excellent suggestions on other needed items. When the work was finished, Philip personally gave me and my friend a tour of the shop (mechanics/technicians were friendly and I was very impressed by their appearance and cleanliness and how well the shop was equipped) went over everything that was done, showed me the old parts, and spent the time with me....that other dealers had not done. Normally I pay for the service, person says everything is fine, then ride away....not here! Philip made sure all my questions were answered, seemed to enjoy talking with me, and thanked me several times. But the final thing was how clean the bike was. Obviously somebody spent a lot of time cleaning it because it was brought in very dirty...but now...was spotless...even the wheels were clean! I just moved to the Bay Area about a year ago from Texas. I ride a Road King Custom and began to ask around for suggestions on where to go for parts and service. "Fantastic service! I rode over 60 miles to have my work done at HOT instead of several other places and am very glad I did. I wanted exhaust, intake, and stage 1 work done on my 2010 FXDF, and my local HD dealer said it was not possible without extra modifications. I knew he was wrong so I went to HOT. They did everything I wanted with absolutely no problems and no additional modifications. As we were riding through Big Sur Via Route 1, I noticed my 2010 Classic had a slight wobble in the front end at slow speeds, almost a small tank slapper feeling. After getting on the 101 headed north we found the store hoping that service was still open. The parts counterman got a service tech to come out and look at the bike in the parking lot. After your tech inspected the front tire he determined that it was cupped and needed replacement. "1/2/11: Last August (2010) I bought a 2007 Sportster XL 883 at House of Thunder. I love that name, and their license plate frame looks very sharp on my bike. I am in my early 60's, have had 7 previous bikes over the last 46 years, including a Royal Enfield 500 and a little Suzuki two stroke between which I logged about 50,000 miles in India (and I'm still alive to brag about it!). This is my first Harley. I always appreciated the looks and sound of a naked Sportster, but I never fully realized what a stone classic this machine is until now. It runs great, has buckets of torque from the gitgo, and the weight distribution gives it excellent handling. I was actually ready to buy a new BMW 800 in Watsonville but the sales manager"" (???) was so insulting that he lost my business. I should thank him for sending me over the hill from Santa Cruz to find a beautiful Sportster that clearly had my name on it. Stephanie seemed to know intuitively when to answer my questions and when to leave me alone to cogitate. Ken was also very helpful and neither one of them wasted any of my time. Most other dealerships have a tortuous routine which should be relegated to Guantanamo Bay! They didn't squawk when I declined the extended warrantee or when I paid cash to avoid the interest on the loan. "2/13/11: H.O.T. went beyond my expectations yet again. I purchased a ZUMO Road Tech 665 from H.O.T. a previous testimonial mentions how Andy Smith went above and beyond in assisting me in making that purchase. Andy had quoted 2 hours for the install and when the unit came in on February 10 I was waiting at the counter to have it installed. Peanut was as always his courteous helpful self inspite of holding down the fort alone. He had my bike being worked on shortly after 11:00 am. Questions and answers about mounting and activation were addressed through out the day and at 4:30 pm my Limited was finished and ready to roll. I know the bike was being worked on the entire time and expected a song and dance about 2 hours being an estimate not a quote etc. Andy the Service Manager and Peanut checked me out without a word about the additional 3 1/2 hours needed for the install. No whining and crying no excuses. They just made good on their estimate of 2 hours! To top it off I had purchased a pair of pricey safety glasses from Leslie in Accessories a day or 2 earlier. When she saw me come in she asked how I liked them. I explained that they were great except they reduced my peripheral vision"". Leslie immediately offered to exchange them for a less expensive pair which had the same features but better peripheral vision. She explained that they did however offer less wind protection. I was given full credit on the original purchase and am very happy with the pair she recommended as better for my purpose. If you can find a more honest knowledgeable HD Dealership I would be amazed. "5/29/11: For over 6 months, I thought about the day that I would buy my HD Sportster 883 Iron. A certain dealership in the San Francisco area told me both in person and on the phone that my bike was in stock, and would be ready the day of purchase. I was also told that putting down a security deposit was a mere formality and unnecessary given the enormous volume of such bikes. Low and behold, purchase day arrives and my bike has been sold. Only upon questioning what the months of discussion had been about was I told that a security deposit is required to secure the bike. This certain dealership told me that I would have to wait until early August for a replacement to be shipped in and that no dealership had any Iron 883's in stock. This being May, I decided to press my luck and called House of Thunder. Rob (the salesman) was very direct and professional. Rob assured me that while they did not have an 883 iron in stock (no dealers in the Bay Area apparently did), he would get me one ASAP (not by August). Rob called me back 5 minutes later and said that they had located an Iron in Los Angeles and would have it in San Francisco by Wednesday for a standard freight fee (no additional rush charge). The Sales Manager Ken and the General Manager both worked with me on the price and came down a little (despite this being a popular bike not in stock anywhere else) and got me out the door within an hour. When I told Ken that I couldn't come back down to House of Thunder to pick up the bike personally (about an hour and a half commute), Ken told me that he would personally deliver the bike to my house on his day off (no additional charge). Don't waste your time with any other dealer. If you live anywhere near House of Thunder (or even if you don't), go see them to get your Harley. They are quick, courteous, professional and extremely knowledgeable. One of the best sales experiences I've ever had. I plan on coming back to House of Thunder when I buy my custom parts. Bottom line: Save yourself a lot of stress and time. Go to House of Thunder to buy your Harley."

"7/10/12: My wife and I stopped in at the House of Thunder to help a friend of mine from Bullhead City, AZ who needed some parts for his Ultra in April of 2010. Ken (Quack) had sold us 3 motorhomes in the past and we were pleasantly surprised when we found him working at House of Thunder as Finance Mgr. We ended up going home with a 2010 Black Dyna that was very nice. We had no intentions of buying a Harley that day! In October of 2011 a new 2012 Softail was sitting outside on display. My wife really liked it and we felt we needed a softer ride but one that I felt ran well. We purchased the 2012 and had the stage 1 kit installed, mufflers, air cleaner, etc. on the 103 inch motor. It is just a fantastic bike for us, runs very good, and we have ridden a lot more as it is so comfortable. In April of 2012 I bought my wife a 2005 Sportster from them for our 45th anniversary. Phil in service has been an exceptional service person and we have been treated very nicely by the whole dealership. No problems! It is so nice to go to a place of business, see people smiling and polite, and interested in you and your needs. I would recommend House of Thunder to anyone I know. There are very few businesses any more that I would recommend as customer service is just a word. and not a fact. Everyone there has just been great and it has been a pleasant experience. 7/25/12: We are a German couple and in May 2012 we were on a tour from Arizona to Alaska as we stranded with our `91 Electra Glide in Monterey because of a defect starter clutch. We called the House of Thunder and they ordered the new starter and we got an apponintment to change that thing. After 4 days extra vacation in Monterey and with the last engagement from the starter clutch we drove to Morgan Hill. The new starter was already there and they changed it immediately. It was a fast and efficient service and everybody was very nice. Special thanks to Pnut from the parts department and to Erik the mechanic.

"1/18/13: I walked in to The House of Thunder and right away I heard the THUNDER as Rob approached me. He was kind and courteous. We walked around the show room, my 2 housemates and I, looking at the bikes. Sitting on them and asking Rob questions about them, being that I have never owned a Harley. Rob was informative and answered all of my questions that I had. He was funny, so we joked a lot (which I enjoy). I finally had it down to 2 bikes, so we made an appt. to test ride them on another day. I arrived on the day in question and we went out on a test ride on the 2012 Electra Glide first. It was amazing, I was sold. When we got back to HOT I did not need to test the 2nd bike. We did the paperwork and I walked out of HOT with MY HARLEY. It is an early Birthday present for myself. "3/16/13: I bought my first Harley, a 2003 Fatboy when they were still in Hollister. From day one it was more to me like a friendship, knew most of the employees by name. Albert, and all always took care of us, and knew my whole family. Fast forward 7 years and unfortunately I wrecked the fatboy, not my fault. Any how while still on crutches, I told Quack that if he could find me a spiced rum SE streetglide I'd buy it. On his day off, on a Monday, he called me to say he found one and was off to go get it. But the best part was the day I was to pick it up, Albert forced me to ride around the parking lot first before they would let me take it home to make sure I was ok enough to ride it home. And I know it was genuine, they cared more about me and my health than just selling me and pushing me out the door. Life has changes and now I have moved to Washington State but I just wanted to drop a note to say, they at HOT from Dan and Albert, the parts and service guys, all the way to whoever is detailing the Bikes are the Best. "2/26/14: I had my Trike towed to HOT cause I was told that they had a Mechanic by the name of Eric who is the Trike Specialist. Phil the service manager asked me to come in so they could walk me through the issues my Trike had. "4/11/14: After a nasty crash on my 2008 Deluxe I had it put back together, painted and pretty much dressed up. What I didn't do was have an actual mechanic look at it, so although it looked fabulous it wasn't quite right. I took it to HOT for the 15,000 mile service and they found and fixed all of the little things that had been damaged in the crash. When I picked my bike up it was like brand new again. "1/9/15: Yesterday, I took my 2004 Ultra Classic in for an oil change and some preventive maintenance. I picked the bike up today. What a positive experience. Upon entering the dealership, the shop foreman Phil Pnut"" Deleon greeted me with Good Afternoon, I will be right with you. He, obviously, was helping another Harley Davidson MC owner. After taking my work order and discussing the items that I wanted to be addressed, Mr Deleon, drew up an estimate of costs. I signed and left. He called me around 5 PM to tell me my bike was ready to be picked up and went over the work performed and costs. I picked up the bike today. Again I was greeted by Mr Deleon. He pulled my paperwork, before paying, he went over, in detail, what my request was and how they performed their duties for my service. We then discussed a problem with a rattle in the rear area of the bike. It was diagnosed with a loose baffle. We then met with the Parts Guy and looked at several types of mufflers. I have been a Harley Owner since 2003. not a whole long time, but I have 75 K miles on the bike, so you know I have visited several Harley Dealerships across the United States. The two best Dealerships I have visited are House of Thunder and Livermore Harley. They, by far exceeded any of my expectations. House of Thunder is close to my home and I WILL continue to do business with this, in my opinion, a five star dealership. """

I came in to this store a few months ago . Met with Rob in financing , and Rich Sr.on the sales floor . Both were extremely helpful. After shopping around at other stores around the area , and outside of the area , I came back in May , and finally made my purchase , with Rich Sr. 2015 Harley Davidson V Rod.They didn't have the color I wanted , but did bring it in a few days later . I have been patronizing this dealership for several years now and have been very satisfied with their great customer service. As well, I've been happy with the service performed on my bike. However, since the new owner(s) took over, the customer service has reached an all time high. My husband recently purchased a new Dyna Wide Glide for me. Typically I run the other way when I see a sales rep coming towards me, as I want to be able to look around on my own without someone breathing down my neck. I never thought I'd say this but I was very impressed with Jeff,our sales rep. He was very respectful and gave me the space I needed. I couldn't wait to see him each time I went into the showroom. And the Service Dept has always taken very good care of us. Phil is so accommodating (not to mention gorgeous). And Leslie and Samantha in the Apparel Dept are so warm and welcoming. Everyone treats us like family. I would highly recommend House of Thunder to everyone!

I bought my bike in September, 2016 an new road glide ultra no pressure they did not try to sell me things I did not want everything was cool. over the next few months I had stopped in several times because I could not get something to work right, I never had so much shit on a bike. people stopped what they were doing to help, or got someone that could help. I work nights and get off work at 0730 am, twice now I was sitting there waiting for them to open when they opened early, once so I can get my parts and the second time to do some custom wiring work. this is 6 months after the sale. Lesley saw me waiting and offered her truck to go get some breakfast ( she knew I had been working all night), every one there is there to help you. I have been to places that were rated 5 star they could learn a thing or two from House of Thunder. all they need is a wet bar and food they got the wide screen.

Joe was extremely helpful when I had to pick out a sissy bar and accesories for my husbands bike. I had no knowledge of what I needed and Joe knew exactly what kind of bike my husband had and what would work perfectly for it. Joe was able to keep all parts and accessories under my budget. I was in there to get something wired up on my bike. Don the technician told me it would be a few hours ok no problem. He then found out I was going to walk down to a restaurant to eat. He would not hear of it gave his keys to one of the shop people to drive me me and my daughter down to the restaurant then when finished with my bike he drove down and picked us up. The work was done right looked good, and the service is outstanding way above 5 star.

First of all, lemme say that Im writing this because I was so blown away with the service not cuz someone asked me too. Buying my first bike is stressful enough. The last thing I want is a pushy dealer thats just looking for a sale. House of Thunder is not your typical dealer. Theyre more like a family. Right off the bat, my phone call inquiring about a particular pre-owned model was answered quickly and friendly. So I came down to meet with Joel, who was super knowledgeable and chill. He let me ask questions at my pace, helped me weigh pros and cons of different bikes. Hell, he even wanted to know more about me, and how I want to ride, to make sure I was interested in the right bike. There was an immediate level of trust. This guy knows his shtuff. Later, when I decided to pull the trigger and buy the bike of my (beginner) dreams, I came down without a car thinking Id ride the bike home. Laura (who actually had the day off!) was cool enough to drive me to the bank to get the proper funds in order. And when it was time to wrap up the sale, the day was late and the wind was strong. So riding home wasnt a good idea for this newbie. No cabs or cars were available to pick me up, so Joel offered to take me back. Seriously? Whoa. I dont think my own friends wouldve given me that ride. These guys are awesome. No pressure. No BS. Great bikes. Amazing people. When I get more experience on the open road, and want to upgrade to my next Harley, Ill without a doubt be stopping down to the family down at House of Thunder. Thanks guys!

Great experience.....walked in to House Of Thunder just to look around, moved in to the area about a year ago, and have always wanted to come in and see what it was all about, we both ride but do not have Harley's.
I have always rode dirt bikes so not sure i would be able to handle a Harley, but our sales person (Laura) was so great, she took the time to go through several bikes i also sat on them and she allowed me to find what was comfortable for me. I had the best time with her as a person and sales women. My husband and I are ready to make that step to buy a Harley only because or her talent and knowledge of information and I really appreciate that she was not in a rush to sell me one, just to make me feel comfortable and at home.. I was talking to a friend that recently bought a bike from House Of Thunder,I have never even been on a motorcycle in my life, I was so hesitant to come in and even look, but took the plunge and went in and met a sales person named laura, she was so great, she helped me to feel comfortable,welcomed all my questions and concerns. she took the time to go over all the bikes to help me with find the right fit for me, she took her time and was so patient, with out her taking the time with me i would have never considered buying a Harley. I wanted to return to MC riding. I searched all bands of MC's but was really looking for a HD. I went to 4 different dealers and by far, HOUSE OF THUNDER was superior to all of them. While not bad experiences at the other 3, HOUSE OF THUNDER was head and shoulders more friendly, understanding, patient, and just a better place to be. Sales personnel were so patient teaching me the differences not only in HD models but comparing other brands as well.My experience with the parts and service since that time has been excellent. I am pretty easy to satisfy but they exceeded in aiding me to what I NEEDED VS WANTED and helped with my first service (I purchased the 1/5/10/15 K warranty)was beyond my normal satisfaction level.Any questions I have had have been quickly answered and I was patiently shown what I was doing wrong without making me feel stupid for not reading the manual enough.Accessories, while buying HD brand are rather pricey, are not out of control. The staff is patient and easy to work with, teaching and helping me in my learning curve to find items that work for me.All in all, I have NEVER had a negative contact while at HOUSE OF THUNDER.I am so happy with my HD Electraglide Ultra Classic low and I have not been in the slightest regretful for my selecting HOUSE OF THUNDER to be my HD dealer. And no they didn't pay me to say this :)

I very recently purchased a new Street 750 at HoT. The honest truth is I didn't plan on buying the day I had a test drive scheduled.I was looking at a few other options and wanted to wait until later for the new"riding season". Long story short, I rode the bike and the rest is history. Laura and Shawn was extremely helpful in getting me out of there quickly (I had a sick 7yr old in the car) and they even stayed until after closing time to make sure I had everything taken care of. I will definitely be stopping in there to take care of all my Street's upgrades and the accessories I plan on buying. Let me start by say this is more than a 5 star dealership! When I first started looking into buy a Harley Davidson a year ago, House of Thunder was the best dealership that I said I would buy from!I visted 5 dealerships. It all started with the help from the salesman Sonny Rodriguez who contacted me from a salesman who no longer is a salesman but works in the service dept.It started out with me looking at the Street Glide then the Road Glide, both are beautiful bikes. When ran numbers everything came up that I could purchase one with my financial situation. So I thought about it for 3 months and figured after riding a Street Glide, that the Street Glide was not the bike I wanted to just ride around town on. So I started thinking about a different bike (smaller in size and better for my budget.I let Sonny know this and we went from there.He was great with with my decision on looking at something smaller.We where going back and forth on different bikes and every time I would go in and talk to him I would keep looking and sitting on this one Dyna Street Bob they had on the floor. So to make a long story short, I texted him about that bike and texted me back with the down payment and monthly payment I could afford! Went in on a Tuesday after work with my down payment and got the bike. It's funny cause I wasn't looking at the Dyna Street Bob.Rode it home from Morgan Hill to San Jose and fell in love with it!!!!!!!! So house of thunder has been my go to Harley dealership since I first went there to start looking into a new bike. Why u may ask? Because I live so much closer to San Jose Harley Lane splitter. Well ill tell u. Because at HOT ur treated like family no matter how u look or. Dress or talk. Not so at SJ.
Anyways I've been a Harley owner now for one year. In that years time HOT has come through for me on more than one occasion. Most resccently when I was in a crunch getting ready to go on a road trip with my lady and I needed som bolts for my backrest mount. I called and spoke with Phil in HOT service dept. he told me what size bolts I needed and what would have to happen for anyone to help me. I told him I was gonna try lane splitter to see if they could help. Needless to say they told me no.
So I went to HOT they hooked me up. Not only did they get me the correct bolts for my docking station Phil also printed me out some instructions on how to install the whole thing.
I love the whole experience at HOT. Sean and his beautiful wife are always there with a smile and a hello. Phil in service always got my back and is willing to help. Stephanie in parts is the best. Always giving me other options. Trying to stay in my budget or just letting me know I don't really need something.

A friend of mine referred me to see Freddie at House of thunder. I believe he went above and beyond for me. He didn't pressure me and made sure I knew exactly what I was getting. I rode in to House of Thunder with my friend and Freddie Ulloa greeted us both upon entrance. He noticed that my friend already had a bike and asked me if I was interested in owning my own. I ALWAYS was interested but just never took the plunge. Needless to say, at the end of that conversation, I came out of House of Thunder as a new 2017 HD Dyna StreetBob owner! Freddie was never pushy and did not give me the typical "hard" sale that I've experienced in the past. He was patient, explained the different features of each bike and answered each and every question I had. Five Star Experience Overall. I recently purchased a 2018 Street Bob from Laura and the Sales Manager Shawn. Both were efficient with my time and were able to answer all of my questions. Honestly, I had no idea I would be purchasing a new bike...I literally went into the store to buy a new pair of boots! However, Laura was super friendly, respectful, knowledgeable (she could answer all my questions about the new 2018) and quickly put together a trade-in value for my original bike. Although, I lived out of the area, the sales staff easily accommodated me over the phone and even made the hours convenient for purchasing the new bike. I had gone to two other dealerships for comparison in sales service and the outcome was the same-Morgan Hill had the BEST in delivery of sales and service. I,ve never walked into a Harley store before. I eventually purchased my bike from "Pain Givers" - mostly because of location convenience and a "special" service pass. Ever tried calling them??.... you'll hear an automated listing that transfers you to a department you didn't request. Then if a live person picks up, you'll still have to wait. Hiccups with the phones and internet, I understand. It just happens more than not. Oh yeah, scheduled my first oil change with Pain Givers service center (JUST TO BE CLEAR - THEIR SERVICE CENTER IS INDEPENDENT FROM THE DEALERSHIP. Nice folks at the dealership, but still) I told the counter rep that I will be waiting during my oil change and was told it shouldn't take long, so I shopped around. And around, and around. The technician started the job on my bike 30 minutes after scheduled time. Close to 2 hours go by and no call or text notification. I ask for the status on my bike and the rep checks with the tech. He returned to tell me that the service is done, but my bike is #3 in line for a bike wash. Now,I've been there for 3+ hrs, for an oil change; I have places to go - people to see. The counter guy knew it. I even saw him write on the service ticket that "customer's waiting". I was very unsatisfied with the details, or lack thereof, of what an oil change consisted of. Now about my online shopping experiences... H-D.com is a great site. The options I like are "pick up in store" and "check store stock". Every time I click on Pain Givers button to check their stock, they're always "out of stock". Not even a "call store to check stock". That's when I saw the House of Thunder address listed.... and with a "parts in stock" button lit up - suggesting that I "add to cart". Well I did. So I jumped on the bike and drove south for 15 minutes. As soon as I walked in I knew this is where I should've gone from the git go. I was greeted by everyone with a smile, a quick "can I help you find something today?" I say "no, just looking and picking up a part - but if I do need something - I'll find you". No hovering. No pressure. I found the House of Thunder very comfortable. The incredible decorative recessed ceiling and light set up is cool. The way the store is set up is very easy to navigate through. And WOW!! they have some really nice clearance items from parts to clothes, all marked accordingly and reasonably. As for the House of Thunder's service and parts personnel, - Mr. Dylan V.N. greets me and shakes my hand and says "welcome to the family, I hope you like the House". I thought that was clever. I told him what I wanted. He checks his parts stock. BOOM !! there it was - on the counter. I went there for one thing and walked out with a 40% off mesh riding jacket for myself and some gifts for others. 5 other parts on I wanted were on placed order. My items were to arrive on Dec. 8th. I received a call on Dec. 4th letting me know that four of the items arrived with one being back ordered. Without having to ask the question "when will it be in" Dylan tells me that he'll make sure the item is here before Christmas. And I totally believe him. Dylan knows his Harley's and will gladly share all the information he know's about 'em. If he doesn't, he seeks out the answer from another friendly coworker. I've not had the pleasure of meeting everyone in there, and I'm sure they're all great people, but for genuine, quality customer service and questions about Harley's - Dylan is top notch. I walked into house of Thunder to use there bath room, Actually, when a young lady approached me (Laura) and said you know we sell belts here, and chuckled. as I was pulling at my pants. she took me over to motor cloths department where Leslie was so helpful and just a pleasant person to talk to, after leaving i was still looking at the Laguna orange breakout that was there just loved the color, laura said what your not leaving with out your new Harley right, we got to talking about the bike she was so friendly, and knowledgeable on the bike it blew me away, with how she could give me all the features an benefits on the bike. she made it feel like it was already my bike. after talking for a few minutes needless to say I walked out of there with more than a belt. I love the way the dealership handles the purchasing process, it was friendly, personable, just over all a great experience, after all they already did for me they even offered to deliver the bike for me because i was going out of town for work, at no charge amazing no one does that any more. to go out of there way for me,i live in dixon so not a quick trip. I just want to tell every one, if you are looking for a Harley don't wast your time like i did shopping around when your ready to buy go see Laura at house of thunder she will take good care of you and give a price you will be happy with. The follow up on making sure my bike was delivered and all was OK afterwards that is rare in it's self no one cares after you leave just want you to buy, well not do at House Of Thunder. thank you Laura your are the best, and such a wonderful smile and always friendly, and genuine. The buying experience for my first bike something to remember. The staff was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Ringing the bell was cool gesture when the deal was done. I needed to leave the bike there until the next weekend because I really didn't go there t, actually, purchase a bike. Lol!! So, I pick up the bike and my maiden take off was a little shaky. (wasn't use to the weight of the bike) The salesman, gave me his number and old me to let him know when I made it to my destination. Now that's Customer Service!!!........THen 2 months later I received a refund check for being over charged for DMV fees!! Now that's Customer Service!!

I had to replace a threadbare rear tire on an '08 Fatboy and I was able to get the bike in and serviced quickly. Jonah, Chris, Brendan, and Stafford took care of the job and even cleaned 2 years of oil and grime off the bike. The cleaning alone saved me a whole days worth of work. Since I ride the bike every day I have had ample time to check out the new brakes and rotor, the new tire, and a good looking bike and I am 100% happy about everything. Thanks guys!

Cant say enough good things about the service dept. I was on a road trip to northern California and my electrics started going crazy. Had no digital readouts, no odometer, trip meter, tach, remaining miles, nothing. The speedometer gauge showed zero even though I was at highway speed. The only thing that was on was the check engine light. Was afraid to turn off the bike for fear it wouldnt start again. When I got to the hotel, I finally turned off the bike and called the nearest H-D dealer, which was House of Thunder, about 40 miles away in the wrong direction. I figured I was going to be stuck for a couple of days even finding a dealer that was open since this was on a SUNDAY about 4:30 pm. However, the dealership was open and the service dept assured me they would have the service manager call me as soon as he was free. Sure enough, got a call from Henry in about 10 minutes. He had me sit on the bike and walked me through the diagnostics to clear the code and the engine light. It took a few tries but eventually I got the gauges back, the bike started up and everything worked again. Continued my trip and havent had an issue since. This was customer service to the extreme. Thank you, House of Thunder!

I love the "House of Thunder" in Morgan Hill. It's open 7 days a week. I bought my husband a 2021 Street Glide CVO to help with his commute of 2-3 hours, now reduced to 1.5 hours by riding a motorcycle. My husband needs his Harley operational 234/7/365. My husband has been in a pickle twice now and "Peanut", aka Phil, the service manager, has gone above and beyond the call of duty and service. My husband's Harley by replacing the rear tire twice (I have the flat tire warranty plan) without hesitation. Normally, you have to make an appt. and wait a few days before your Harley is repaired and returned. But in two situations , Peanut has proven over and over to be sensitive to one's needs and gave superb service to my husband, the customer. The fact that "House of Thunder" is open 7 days a week is outstanding and greatly appreciated. My husband said to me last night that there is a Harley God named "PEANUT" at the House of Thunder in Morgan Hill, CA.

Purchased my 2006 dyna street bob from house of thunder. Since the purchase they basically rebuilt my whole bike. Engine build. Paint job seat bars controls fairing shocks fork tubes etc. Customer service is on point. From sales to service techs they worked with me to get it just right. And gauranteed there work. Brought the bike in for some Diag work a safety check, because it's a new to me bike, and pairing a spare fob. All went well. Went home put my bags back on and went back to the dealership with a question about the PIN and dropped a bag on the freeway. Dang it. Anyway, it was close to closing but Wayde found a couple of the grommets for the bag and got me set up again. Special thanks to Wayde. The rest of the guys that I worked with all deserve a shout out too. Thanks John, Jarrod, Josh, and Dillon for great service in the parts and service department.
